80 Proof Media Services and 80 Proof Records are honcho'd by me, Todd Bisson. Since 1987, I have worked in radio promotions, marketing, music supervision and A&R for Virgin, Columbia, EMI, Restless, and Beyond Music. Over the course of my career I have been associated with the success of dozens of acts and artists including Camper Van Beethoven, Lime Spiders, Ziggy Marley, Warren Zevon, Roy Orbison, Killing Joke, David Sylvian, Sam Phillips, That Petrol Emotion, Big Audio Dynamite, Bizarre Inc., Jeff Buckley, Midnight Oil, Kate Bush, Sunscreem, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Tony Bennett, Terence Trent D'Arby, Alice In Chains, Soul Asylum, Suede, Public Enemy, Lori Carson, Jill Sobule, Veruca Salt, and Lucy Pearl.

 

Since 2001, I have owned and operated  my own companies with cumulative sales in excess of three million dollars. As a consultant I have worked with more than a dozen companies  and artists including Artists Direct, Peer Music Publishing, Artisan Pictures, Loop Recordings, Red Mile Games, 3:33 Music and James Hood of Moodswings.

 

Through 80 Proof Records, I have released a dozen recordings featuring some of the most well-known and critically-praised artists of the past 40 years. My new music playlist Snap Crackling Pop is one of the best places to go to discover new music on a daily basis.
